Well Forbidden Planet have stepped in and bought the place.

I'm kinda in the good news that it's not become a cafe or barbers shop and I used to buy a lot old comics when it was mega city, thought it was nice the signage gives a nod to that. If keeps the same ethos as mega city its a brilliant thing.

Then the bad news FP not got great reputation for packing stuff and I'm mainly mail order, also they like to fill the shop with merchandise so are they still going to have space for old comics 😔 so I'm bit 50/50 or maybe 60/40

If I had the cash I bought it as a going concern and changed nothing apart from sticking my name above the door like a pub, license to sell quality old paper 😄

Yes, I agree with Al and am glad it has not been tuned into something else. Never went there myself but love to see old skool comic book shops still being kept alive.
