Okay, so what is everyones favourite kind of music?

As an aspiring guitar player I have always been drawn to rock music. My favourite band is AC/DC but I like to think I have an eclectic taste in music and can listen to most things.

Mostly I play the Ibanez range 'Jem' but i have the usual suspects of Les Paul, Strats etc and then odd ones like Kiesel...

Oh very nice. Are you a Vai fan per chance? haha.
I have never played a Kiesel, is yours a 7 string?

I mainly play bluesy/rock stuff. i.e Clapton, Hendrix, AC/DC etc but do love shredders like Buckethead, Satch and Vai.

Haha, yes guilty of being a Vai wannabe.. Speaking of Bucket i installed a few kill switches on my guitars along with getting one of those Digitech Whammy Pedals (i went through that phase).....

I got a couple of 7 strings yea but not the Kiesel... It's a rare model from a line of customs that a guitar player 'McRocklin' has.

I mainly play Blues/Rock myself as a basis like you but ill sometimes find interest in heavier playing like Slipknot and then lighter playing like The Beatles.... all depends on my mood 😎

Haha! Well he's not a bad player to try and emulate. Oh very nice....kill switches are cool.

Well i'll have to check out that model and if it's used by 'McRocklin' then it must be bloody good. Do you know of a Guitarist/Youtuber called 'The Doo'?

Yes I am the same. Although I am not that technically proficient, my ultimate goal is to learn 'Cliffs of Dover'.

At the moment I am trying out the Positive Grid Spark 2 and think it's quite cool but you can't beat having pedals etc.

Ahh Positive Grid! Not long got hold of a spark mini (Vai edition of course).. The baby version of what you have. It's fantastic as a practice amp to be fair...

As I've only recently got back into playing I ditched my valve head which was a Bogner/Line 6 spider mk3 (if i remember correctly) and 2x12 Marshall Lead cab... too loud... to a Neural Quad Cortex. Fantastic piece of equipment running through studio monitors but toying with how to get it going through a cab/pa for live gigging....

You in a band/play live or record etc?

He mainly does videos of him playing guitar for people on Omegle.

Oh nice! Didn't even know they did the Vai version haha. Blimey! The Neural Quad Cortex is an amazing bit if kit and it would be great if you could work out how to get it running through a Cab or PA system.

I would love to be in a band but I have only just recently started playing again after a long time of not playing at all so need to polish up on quite a bit.

How about yourself? Sounds like you have experience of playing live.
