I used to play a lot as a kid. The night my grandad passed away was when it all started. I was 7 years old, staying over at a friend's house, and he taught me how to play that evening. From that moment, I was hooked. The 3 smaller Usborne Books on the left I got from my Uncle and my Mom as a kid. I must have read them 500 times over. Something you did back in the early 90's before there was endless options lol Took a long break but recently got back into it a few years ago. I watch a tonne of GothamChess (Levy Rozman) and recently got this chessboard sent to me from my Uncle. Its hand made from Mongolia.
