At The Movies 🍿
Just got back from seeing Tom Cruise’s final run as Ethan Hunt in Mission: Impossible – Final Reckoning.
The stunts? incredible. Tom Cruise is literally defying gravity like it's a daily hobby. Â The man has no fear whatsoever.
That being said… the storyline didn’t blow me away. Felt a bit drawn out at times and some plot points kind of wandered. Could’ve done with tighter pacing and a little more emotional weight in places.
On the action front though....It delivers.
If you’re a fan of action, spectacle, or just want to watch Tom Cruise do things no insurance policy should allow, it’s 100% worth a watch.
Not perfect, but still a bloody good time.

Watched James Gunn's Superman on Sunday, and whilst the visual effects were pretty amazing and the music was great, I have to admit, it left me scratching my head a bit. The storyline felt like it didn't know in which direction it wanted to go and felt disjointed, and some of the characters felt a bit off but I would probably try it again a second time though.
So, who's seen Fantastic Four: First Steps? What did people think?
Here's my take on
I thought it  was a good film overall. Galactus looked really impressive — the design nailed that larger-than life presence. I was a bit skeptical about Shalla-Bal at first, but she actually turned out great and added more depth than I expected.
The story itself wasn’t the strongest part, but I absolutely loved the whole Jetsons style 60s/70s aesthetic. It gave the book a fun, retro-futuristic vibe that made it stand out, even when the plot felt a bit thin.
It is definitely worth going to the cinema for.
