Apart from sequential art which is my main passion I like to collect minature armies and paint them, make diorama out if them.
Everything from warhammer, age of sigmar, d&d and historical
I'm a really slow painter so can take me some time but the end results usually look ok
I loved Warhammer when I was younger. There was a shop down the road (Sleepers) that sold mostly scalextric but I really kept convincing him to stock Warhammer. Well I felt awful (even as a kid) as when he finally broke and did start stocking it for me, I had moved away from it. So I went in a bought a bunch over the months when I really wanted my pocket money to go elsewhere.
Got some in the other week for the kids so I could relive my youth through them. I'll post the results when we get round to it
Ace mate would love to see them. I was the same as a kid I used to play a lit role play fantasy mainly the warhammer old world still got my original rule books, quite collectable now all the old stuff some models and merch goes for good money
Least you was morally correct as a young man as was the right thing to do after asking him to stock it
I worked at games workshop many many years ago, was a mould maker loved going to work and wish I never left the job now would save myself hundreds of pounds 🤣
@matthuskinson sleepers models, thats a name I haven't heard for a while now! Blast from the past. Besides comic books, I collect Trading cards in the form of 90's Marvel and Base Set Pokemon. Last year I really got into Retro Gaming, I collect boxed NES/SNES/N64 games. Just love reliving my childhood.

I was hoping you'd see that James as I knew you'd know the name. Those type of shops sadly barely exist anymore....maybe we bring it back and get our own shop in B23 one day 😅
Video games always been a passion of mine too. Mega Drive and PS 1 my main source of crack. We will have to have a retro gaming night one day and get the pizzas in 🙂
My collecting habits change constantly, currently I'm in a Spawn phase, trying to collect as many of the lower print issues as possible so from issue 110-298 around there, if you know the print run on Spawn you know this isn't a easy or cheap quest lol!
I also open quite a few packs of Marvel and now DC trading cards on-line (always trying to hit the big cards) this isn't for collecting, more as I like the thrill of the chase.
What started me collecting was the comic book series The Sandman, once i read a disturbing issue titled "24 hours"" issue #6 I was hooked, I chased down all issues in as high as grade as I could find, along with error prints and then went after solo story arcs and first appearances of other characters within the series.
Love the pack openings online I watch a lot pokemon and football cards being opened and seen some highs snd lows as dome packs can be really expensive. Drop yr online handle in the community groups marts and I have a watch
Quality start with the sandman and now spawn something in the ssss,s maybe? 😁
I used to collect Airfix models when I was younger and amassed a collection of about 20 different planes. I don't have any now unfortunately but it would be cool to maybe make one again as a trip down memory lane. Also, was crazy about POGS and had a nice collection but as of today, I would really like to get into collecting film posters but haven't started yet haha.
I am partial to statues, Mainly Sideshow, Always Batman or Superman related
I haven’t bought one for a while although there’s alway something coming out I want it’s just I don’t have the space and the money can be used for key books I want.

Love my airfix models and I was the same mate as kid made all sorts planes, tanks etc. I recently made a few spitfires etc and really enjoyed it I recommend it as an adult as those bit that were tricky as a kid are a lot easier now
When I get time I got the kits to build a 2nd WW British RAF base
